1. What we publish
Healthiz publishes field notes, practical guides, buying checks, and review briefs across sleep, nutrition basics, movement, daily routines, recovery, and wellness products. We write for ordinary weeks: tired evenings, limited budgets, small apartments, inconsistent motivation, and readers who need a decision rather than another aspirational system.
We avoid pretending that a product, app, supplement, wearable, or routine can solve every reader’s situation. Articles should identify who benefits, who should skip, and what low-cost change should be tried first.
2. Evidence and source standards
We weigh public product information, manufacturer documentation, return policies, safety warnings, recognised health guidance, research summaries, reader concerns, and practical implementation limits. Evidence quality is described carefully. A plausible mechanism, strong branding, or popular trend is not treated as proof.
When the evidence is limited, mixed, indirect, or not specific to the product category, the article should say so plainly. We do not inflate certainty to make a purchase feel easier.
3. Reviews, buying guides, and testing language
We do not claim hands-on testing, clinical evaluation, ownership, or professional endorsement unless the article clearly states the basis. If a page is built from public specifications, policy review, category research, and editorial analysis, it should use honest language such as “buying notes,” “decision guide,” “reality check,” or “evidence check.”
For product-adjacent pages, we look at maintenance burden, return windows, subscription renewal, cleaning/storage needs, safety caveats, data privacy where relevant, and whether the product remains useful after the first two weeks.
4. Health and safety boundaries
Healthiz is general information, not medical advice. Articles should encourage professional guidance when pregnancy, chronic illness, medication, injury, eating disorder history, severe sleep issues, mental health risk, allergies, or pain are relevant. We avoid diagnosis, treatment promises, or “guaranteed results” language.
We also avoid shame-based health copy. The editorial standard is practical: reduce friction, respect limits, and do not make a reader feel broken because a perfect routine is unrealistic.
5. Affiliate and commercial separation
Affiliate relationships may support the site, but they do not decide verdicts. A commission does not make a product safer, more useful, or more appropriate. We may mention cheaper alternatives, reasons to skip, and disadvantages even when an affiliate programme exists.
Brands, agencies, and networks may send product context or correction requests. We may use that information editorially, but we do not guarantee placement, ranking, favourable wording, or publication.
6. Updates, corrections, and accountability
Pages are reviewed when product claims, prices, subscriptions, safety warnings, availability, return policies, or reader feedback change. Not every typo or formatting adjustment changes the visible update date, but meaningful editorial changes should be reflected where practical.
